Drake Reveals October World Weekend Shows, Featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Many More

Drake has revealed an exceptional concert series he’s referring to as October World Weekend.

The three-day show will occur on July 28, 29, and August 1 at different venues in Toronto, featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, and an act called “All Canadian North Stars.”

Tickets will be available this Friday.

October World Weekend is listed in a flyer for the event as part of the Road to OVO Fest Tour.

In an Instagram post, Drake also elaborated on what it signifies, saying, “I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary, but of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come.”

Drake dropped his album inspired by house, Honestly, Nevermind, last month, only hours following its announcement. It marks his 11th album to secure the top 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album charts, becoming the fifth musician to drop over 10 No. 1 albums.

After the release of his new track, Drake dropped a music video for “Falling Back.” And last week, he shared the stage with the Backstreet Boys, performing “I Want It That Way” in Toronto.
