Hugh Grant is a Golden Globe-winning British actor who appeared in “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” the film adaptation of “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Florence Foster Jenkins”.
He studied English at Oxford before pursuing a theater career. He worked in repertoire and as a copywriter, eventually forming his own comedy company, the Jockeys of Norfolk.
Although he is a perfect bachelor, Grant has fathered 3 (a girl and 2 boys) children by 2 different girl friends.
Both of his parents were children of military families, but despite his parents’ background, he said his family was not always prosperous during his childhood.
Grant is a patron of DIPEx Charity, which runs the Healthtalkonline website. He is also the patron of the Fynvola Foundation, named after his late mother; the foundation supports Lady Dane Farmhouse, a home in Faversham for adults with learning difficulties.
