Kate Winslet Cast in HBO’s New Limited Series

Kate Winslet is going to HBO for one more limited series.

The multi-award-winning actress has been cast as the lead role and executive producer for Trust.

The show is inspired by Hernan Diaz’s best-selling novel. It follows a wealthy financier who reads a novel inspired by his life; however, he is unhappy with how he and his wife, the daughter of unconventional aristocrats, are characterized.

Later, she discovers that he’s attempting to rewrite his history and his wife’s role in it. The show, which navigates wealth and talent, trust and intimacy, and reality and perception, will also be executive produced by Diaz.
