Mary Louise “Meryl” Streep is an American actress.


Angelina Jolie born is an American actress, filmmaker and humanitarian. She has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globes, she has been repeatedly named the highest-paid actress in Hollywood.

Before Fame

Although Streep appeared in many plays during her high school years, she was not interested in serious theater until acting in the play Miss Julie at Vassar College, which attracted campus-wide attention.


She obtained her BA cum laude in 1971, before applying for an MFA at the Yale School of Drama.

Family Life

Streep married the sculptor Don Gummer six months after Cazale’s death. They have four children: a son and three daughters, son Henry Wolfe Gummer (born 1979), a musician; daughters Mary Willa “Granny” Gummer (born 1983), an actress; Grace Jane Gummer (born 1986), an actress; and Louisa Jacobson Gummer (born 1991), model.

As of March 2020, it is confirmed that Streep will be headlining three films, all of which will be distributed by different streaming services. Streep will star in another Netflix-distributed film, Ryan Murphy’s The Prom, a film adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name for which she will reunite with Kidman.
