At the age of 19, while struggling with her acting career, she worked as a waitress at a Red Lobster in the Bronx, but was fired for rudeness to clients. She said she had been fired from “at least 15 jobs” for similar reasons.


In 2012, a New York Times editor said some considered her “the most influential rapper of all time.” Minaj has been nicknamed the “Black Lady Gaga” because of her colorful costumes and wigs.

Family Life

Minaj started dating her childhood friend Kenneth “Zoo” Petty and applied for a marriage license in August 2019. She announced that they had officially married on 21 October.

In May 2017, Minaj offered via Twitter to pay the tuition fees and student loans for 30 of her fans. It seemed to be fulfilling their requests, which ranged from $ 500 for school supplies to $ 6,000 for tuition, promising to meet more requests in a month or two.
