Robert J. Bach, commonly known as Robbie Bach, was the chairman of the Entertainment & Devices division. He led the division responsible for Xbox, Xbox 360, Zune, Windows Games, Windows Phone, and the Microsoft TV platform.

Before Fame

He joined Microsoft in 1988 and worked for the company until 2010. He is currently a member of the board of directors of several companies and non-profit organizations. He is now focused on bringing his experiences to a positive impact on communities through his public speaking engagements and the recently released book – Xbox Revisited: A Game Plan for Corporate and Civic Renewal.

Family Life

Robbie Bach was born in Peoria, Illinois and the son of a former director of Schlitz. He graduated from RJ Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1980. He is married and the father of three children.
