Harry Osterhoudt Jr is an American actor and comedian best known for his outstanding stand-up comedy gigs. Lately, the comedian has slowly been transitioning to acting, appearing in numerous hit television shows and Broadway performances. Harry Osterhoudt Jr. was born in Irvington, New Jersey and is the youngest of five children. In college, he attended the Raritan Valley Community College but later transferred to the Simmons College of Kentucky, where he excelled in studying video and film production. In 2010, the Irvington native played semi-pro Basketball and was doing so for five years until going on hiatus.

During his two-year hiatus, Harry jump-started his career by performing as a stand-up comedian at numerous local bars and other well-known venues such as the Stress Factory Comedy Club, Scottie Comedy Cove, as well as the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City, where the actor is scheduled to perform at once again. Eventually, he started gracing television screens and films by being featured in well-known films like 2009’s Notorious, a biopic of the celebrated Notorious B.I.G., a rapper who rose from being a Brooklyn Street hustler to a distinguished rap artist, as well as NBC Studios NYC’s The Blue Labyrinth that premiered back in February 2020.

Harry also appeared in several hit television shows such as Starz Power Season 6 back in 2019, Love & Hip Hop, 2020’s The Politician, Starz PowerBook Season 2, and Amazon Harlem, both released in 2021. Making it big in a competitive environment like the Entertainment industry is certainly not an easy feat. Entertainers like Harry are expected to train all the time to hone their talent for the craft, but the former Basketball player knows that and to get to where he is right now, he put in a lot of hard work and determination. Besides films and T.V. shows, Harry has appeared in a few web series’ such as 2018’s Trappin’ and Those Who Can’t. He was also able to succeed as a professional model both in print and on the runway for some of New Jersey’s local boutiques and up-and-coming designers.

When he’s not acting, doing stand-up comedy, or honing his craft on both, Harry volunteers his time at the Boys and Girls Club, where he supports and inspires the youth to continue reaching for their goals and achieve great success.

Harry hopes to obtain more experience in the upcoming roles that he’s slated to play to advance his journey as an all-around entertainer, all while improving his craft as an actor and a comedian.

“One thing that sets me apart from the competition is my elaborate background. Performing in numerous locations has given me the upper hand considering that I was able to establish a loyal fan base where I am considered a regular,” the actor shares. He also added how his overall experience has helped contribute to the improvisational skills that allowed him to easily communicate with his audience.

With a deep-rooted passion for his craft and creativity, Harry is even more determined to get his name out there, taking challenges head-on as he constantly evolves for the better.
