Florida Men’s Fashion Week (FMFW) has wrapped up, leaving us with unforgettable impressions from some of the most talented designers. Among the many remarkable collections, one truly captivated our hearts: Manuel Tiscareño’s debut men’s line. Known for his mastery in couture, Tiscareño brought a seamless evolution of his artistry to the FMFW runway with a collection that felt both innovative and true to his roots.
Inspired by the legendary Pegasus, the winged horse, Tiscareño’s collection, aptly named “Volan” (Latin for “to take flight”), was a poetic exploration of freedom, elegance, and the beauty of movement. Each piece reflected the concept of soaring above limitations, blending refined tailoring with artistic flair.
The collection featured sleek, elegant shorts paired with embroidered sweaters, accessorized with black aviators that exuded effortless city-cool energy. Metallic blazers and matching shorts shimmered under the runway lights, offering a bold, modern aesthetic. One of the standout moments came with a V-shaped metallic top composed of hundreds of delicate feather-like elements, reminiscent of a grand wing, paired with impeccably tailored classic pants. Feather-sleeve jackets in soft pastel tones blended with metallic accents brought a touch of ethereal sophistication, creating pieces destined for red carpets and high-profile events.
The pastel and metallic palette further elevated the collection, balancing a dreamy softness with a cutting-edge, futuristic vibe. It was a stunning debut that perfectly captured Tiscareño’s vision and the spirit of FMFW.
This first flight for Tiscareño’s men’s collection was nothing short of extraordinary, and we can’t wait to see where his creative journey will take us next. Thank you, FMFW, for giving us the opportunity to witness such brilliance on the runway
Launching an event as grand as FMFW is no easy feat, but the impressive list of partners and sponsors proves the strength of this new fashion initiative. Sponsors such as Majorica USA, Nutree Cosmetics, Lova Lux, Gigi Flowers, Fort Lauderdale Fashion Magazine, Art Picnic Catering, All You Need Café, Enke Systems, Olaplex, Edgar Entertainment, Vodka Truman, BodyBra, Miami Fashion Shows and Lillet Blooms & Events Décor all contributed to the event’s success.
We wish the founders continued success and look forward to more events and men’s designs in the future. Miami is clearly on its way to becoming a key player in the global fashion scene.
FMFW was powered by GWT Makeup Academy and partly by strategic partner of FMFW – Nomad Creators, South Beach’s latest destination for beauty enthusiasts to learn insider fashion beauty secrets. Not only did the Academy serve as the event’s host, but its talented team also created makeup looks for every designer, ensuring models looked their most stunning on the runway. This seamless collaboration elevated the show’s visual impact and left audiences speechless.
The next season is already announced, and we’re eagerly anticipating what’s to come. The collaboration between FMFW and GWT Academy was a resounding success, with the makeup team doing an exceptional job enhancing the beauty of 60 runway models. We were also captivated by the hair concepts created by talented hairstylist Alina Kuznevych, who set the tone for the event’s style.
