Paris Hilton lands a cooking show on the streaming giant, even when she is not trained to be a chef.

While most cooking shows feature a highly reputable chef who has probably authored a cookbook behind a kitchen counter, Cooking With Paris, a new series coming to Netflix, stars hotel heiress and business mogul, Paris Hilton, the 40-year-old socialite who has admitted that she is far from being a trained professional. However, this multifaceted personality certainly knows how to entertain viewers at home.

In this highly entertaining series, Paris Hilton will invite some of her celebrity friends into her kitchen, learning the ropes behind the intricacies of the trade. From understanding ingredients and experimenting with new recipes to learning how to saute, sear, and zest, the hotel heiress shall embrace her “very newly domesticated side” and show off her “culinary expertise (or the lack thereof), glam kitchen wardrobe, and party-throwing skills with some of her fabulous celebrity friends,” Netflix shared in a statement.

Cooking With Paris was inspired by Paris Hilton’s Youtube video of the same name, where the star made lasagna at home. Far from her expertise, the socialite managed to entertain viewers as she navigated herself around the kitchen. Since then, the post became viral, having over 5 million views. Along with Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, and Rebecca Hertz, Hilton will serve as the show’s executive producer.

Cooking With Paris is one of Paris Hilton’s many projects this year as she has been keeping busy since the start of 2021. Earlier this year, she launched her own production company, Slivington Manor Entertainment, and signed a deal with the prestigious Warner Bros. She also has an upcoming wedding reality television show at Peacock, Paris In Love, which follows her incredible journey with fiance and venture capitalist Carter Reum.

“We just started shooting our new show, Paris in Love, on Peacock and we’re shooting in New York just now, actually, and getting ready for the dress fitting and just planning the bachelorette party. There’s a lot,” the “Stars Are Blind” singer shared. “So I’m really excited to share that with all my fans,” she added.

Paris Hilton will also serve as the executive producer for Paris In Love.

LA Judge Approves Kanye West’s Petition to Change Legal Name to Ye

Kanye West, a powerhouse in the industry, needs no introduction, but his new name does. The Grammy Award-winning rapper, whose debut solo album, The College Dropout, immediately put him on the map, has managed to create a legacy in the music scene, turning into a worldwide icon with considerable reach and influence. Known for his flamboyant personality and multiple changes in his image, it doesn’t come off as a surprise why he petitioned to adopt another name legally. 

Last August 24, Kanye West, now officially “Ye,” made a legal move to shorten his name. Currently bearing no middle or last name, the rapper, producer, and fashion designer filed for the change for personal reasons. On October 18, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michelle Williams Court acknowledged the request. “There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted,” she said in court documents. 

While there has been no further explanation about the impetus behind his petition, the choice of moniker didn’t raise any eyebrows as West has gone by Ye for years. In 2018, the polarizing artist dropped ye, a studio album that gained massive visibility because of a controversy. In the month prior to its release, he appeared with a Trump-autographed Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat and declared that not only is slavery a choice but also that African American slaves gave the nod to their enslavement. 

Ye has long made his persona official on Twitter, tweeting that he was “the being formerly known as Kanye West. I am YE,” on September 29, 2018. When asked to shed light on that development, he referenced the Bible in a radio interview. “I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible, it means you. So I’m you, I’m us, it’s us,” the Billboard Artist Achievement awardee shared. “It went from being Kanye, which means ‘the only one,’ to just ‘ye’ being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything. It’s just more of a reflection of who we are.”

Fresh from performing two songs from his recent Donda album, Ye is basking in the success of his latest drop despite the controversies attached to it. He claimed that Universal Music Group released the much-delayed tenth studio album without his approval, an allegation that shortly came after it made its way on streaming platforms. With the 44-year-old rapper changing his name to Ye, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has received questions about whether or not she’ll change her last name accordingly. The news of the couple’s separation was revealed on Friday when Musk and Grimes told Page Six that they were taking some space after three years together but will continue to co-parent their one-year-old son X (Æ A-XII). “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,” Musk, 50, told the publication.

“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas, and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now, and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”

The 33-year-old Grimes, who appears as a judge on the competition show Alter Ego, said that she wanted to help Musk colonize Mars back in March. She even posted a photo on her Instagram from the Starbase launch site in Texas, with a caption that read:  “Ready to die with the red dirt of Mars beneath my feet.” 

In another interview, the “Oblivion” singer shared that she would like to “have my consciousness live in some kind of humanoid vessel that can speak and move freely, and then that body can go to Mars and other planets with my mind inside it.” She has also said she would move to the dusty planet after the age of 50 and do “manual labor until death,” adding, “but hopefully that can change.”

While some couples would divide their properties and assets after separation, Grimes and Elon Musk are dividing space colonies, which is very characteristic of the famous couple. It seems like Grimes still has a sharp wit and sense of humor about her split from Elon Musk.
